Test Results

This section serves to organize and present the data produced for this project. The data is presented in the following subdivisions.

  • Gas concentration. These are graphs illustrating the distribution of the fire extinguishing agent in the simulator. Other profiles may be shown here as well; please pay attention to graph titling.
  • The analyzer probe configuration used within this nacelle simulator to capture test results is achieved by 12 analyzer channels arranged in three rings of 4 analyzer probes.
  • Nacelle Simulator Profiles. Various profiles are shown in graph format here. They are primarily temperature profiles for components within the simulator.
  • Agent Performance Table(PDF file). This is a table listing the fire extinguishing agents and their respective performance. The information is listed in tabular format based on the weight of the chemical discharged in the test and the conditions by which it was challenged.
